I read your comments with interest. I was never a professional photog but I have been playing with photography for about fifty years. I started carrying around one or two bodies, several lenses, flash and tripod, but age and a poor back made that impossible. I initially just reduced the load and used Olympus cameras, but later I switched to digital and got one of the early Konica-Minoltas. However, I now have a Sony Alpha 100 and love it. I use a (35mm equiv.) 28-300mm zoom lens for all of my travel. I do have a super wide angle and some other lenses but this works well for me. It is still much heavier than your rig and I am quite interested, but I like to have an optical finder. -- Lee
